Fields of Rhythm: Bhangra, Harvest and Nature in Kirklees - Lawrence Batley Theatre

Fields of Rhythm connects Bhangra’s agricultural roots with nature, growing, harvest and place in Kirklees. Through workshops with local schools, South Asian community groups, elders and allotment holders, the project will explore how dance, work songs and dhol rhythms grew from farming life and continue to connect people to land, community and the environment.
